What you will practise

This is not general English wearing a tie. Each module targets a specific professional situation: running and surviving meetings, presenting data without reading the slides, negotiating terms, writing email that gets answered, and the underrated art of professional small talk. You will rehearse your actual upcoming presentations and redraft your actual emails — anonymised, of course.

Tutors on this course have worked in corporate roles in the UK, Australia and Singapore before teaching, so the feedback goes beyond grammar: tone, structure and the cultural subtext of "let's circle back" are all fair game.

Who it suits

Mid-career professionals in Malaysian and multinational companies, founders pitching to overseas clients, and teams whose working language just switched to English. Corporate group bookings for up to six colleagues are available at the same group size we always teach.

Practical details

Ten weeks, two sessions a week, with early-morning, lunchtime and evening slots because we know what your calendar looks like. In-centre at Wisma UOA II — a lift ride from half of KL's corporate towers — or online.
