Young Learners (Ages 6-12)

English that feels like the best part of the week. Your child will not notice how much they are learning — you will.

Children in a lively English storytime lesson

How we teach children

Children do not learn languages the way adults do, so we do not teach them that way. Lessons are built from stories, songs, craft projects and games — each one smuggling in vocabulary, sentence patterns and pronunciation practice. A puppet called Baxter handles the grammar. He is surprisingly strict.

Groups are arranged by age band (6-8 and 9-12) and level, never more than six children, always with a native-speaking tutor trained in young-learner teaching. Every class is recorded, so you can watch your child's confidence grow week by week — and replay the songs you will inevitably be asked to sing at home.

What parents receive

A short written note after every class, a progress report each term, and a proper certificate at the end of each level that most children insist on framing. We also run a WhatsApp line for parents, answered by our student support team, for anything from schedule changes to "what does Baxter actually look like?"

Practical details

Classes run weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings, in-centre or online. Terms are twelve weeks and follow the Malaysian school calendar, with holiday camps in June and December.
